Cafe / Bakery
Interior Design
Gontran Cherrier is organized around a repeated timber arch system that turns a mall-based bakery into a clearly identifiable architectural environment. The rhythm of the arches extends from the seating area toward the service counter, creating depth, enclosure and a strong visual perspective within an otherwise open retail floor.
Warm timber is contrasted with black signage, dark stone tabletops and yellow metal elements. Display counters, seating and lighting are integrated into the same material language so that the bakery, cafe and storefront read as one continuous interior.
The timber structure creates a sequence of compressed and open moments, giving the long seating zone a strong spatial rhythm while remaining lightweight enough for a retail environment.
